The design is made to be printed on fabric, with embedded texture. 
A reward for young aspiring knights (ages 10-15) to be awarded for exceptional service or behaviour during a summer event. The black and white wreath is the symbol of the Shire of Loch Salaan, the SCA group that commissioned this art from me.

Originally proposed as "Champion", we changed the title to "Defender" to emphasize a more passive sense of personal integrity, rather than the modern assertive, dominating associations of championship.
